Erosion at Wilderness Dunes
Over the past fortnight Wilderness Dunes has taken a hammering as a result of the high seas. This has led to large-scale erosion of the beach, the dune areas as well as the front gardens of three homes in this Wilderness suburb. The results were shocking to some Wilderness residents. Ingrid Becker, who has been keeping a close watch on our shores and the front row of beach homes in Wilderness Dunes, have been recording the cave-ins of the front lawns and for her it has been a particularly painful event to witness.
