The 50m breaststroke will certainly be an interesting race as World Cup winner Cameron van der Burgh strives to hold onto the top spot when he competes against Ayrton Sweeney and Jarred Crous.
The trio will also race in the 100 and 200m breaststroke events.
Expect a powerful Performance from Olympian Chad le Clos in the 50 and 200m butterfly, as well as the 50 and 200m freestyle races, while Douglas Erasmus will show off his skills in the 50 and 100m freestyle and the 50m butterfly.
On the ladies side, 17 year-old Nathania van Niekerk will be looking to make a splash when she takes to the water in the 50m butterfly as well as the 50, 100 and 200m backstroke races, with Karin Prinsloo presenting some tough competition in the backstroke events.
Vanessa Mohr and Erin Gallagher will battle it out for the 50m freestyle title, while Mohr will also swim the 50 and 100m butterfly and Gallagher the 100m freestyle.
Rene Warnes, Jessica Ashley-Cooper, Nico Meyer and Matthew Meyer will also be among the talent on the hunt for medals in Durban.
