The event attracted over 150 entrants and many of South Africa’s best body boarders to battle it out for valuable SABA points, prize money and of course the coveted King of the Wedge title. It was the highest rated event this year, carrying a 5A rating with points counting towards the crowning of the year-end SABA champions.
SuperSport has awarded a full 30 minute programme to the event and viewers can still watch the broadcast at the following times: September 11 - 15:20 SuperSport Five; September 12 - 19:30 SuperSport Six; September 14 - 18:00 SuperSport Five.
