GEORGE SWIMMING NEWS - The Eden Aquatics junior championship gala took place at the Knysna Primary swimming pool where swimmers aged 6 to 16 years competed.

An Eden junior team that will represent Eden at the inter junior championship gala was selected afterwards.

This gala will be attended by the six districts of Western Cape Aquatics, namely Cape Town Metro, West Coast, Overberg, Winelands, Central Karoo and this year's hosts, Eden. The gala takes place at Knysna Primary School's 25m indoor heated pool on 13 April.

Fish Eagle Aquatics swimmers excelled in all ages and strokes at the Eden junior championships, winning 56 gold, 23 silver and 19 bronze medals and coming first overall in both the boys and girls divisions.

Ryan Nagel of Fish Eagle Aquatics was also selected as the best male swimmer after scoring the most points at the gala. Fish Eagle Aquatics welcomes all new swimmers.
