GEORGE SWIMMING NEWS - Three Fish Eagle Aquatic swimmers recently took part in the Swimming South Africa Senior SA National Aquatic Championship which was held at the Newton Park pool in Port Elizabeth.
This is the highest ranking swimming event in South Africa.
The three swimmers were Arianne Bauer, André Kleynhans Gustav Schlechter - all coached by Fish Eagle coach, Willie Wilson in Plettenberg Bay.
Gustav Schlechter broke his own Eden Aquatics records for the 50 m and 100 m freestyle. André Kleynhans was chosen as team captain for the Western Cape team.
A total of 12 teams took part, including all SA provincial teams as well as teams from Zambia, Namibia and Zimbabwe. Western Cape Aquatics finished in first place at the event followed by Northern Tigers Swimming and Central Gauteng.
Fish Eagle Aquatics has coaches in George, Oudtshoorn, Mossel Bay and Plettenberg Bay.
