GEORGE TENNIS NEWS - York High has honoured Damien Nezar and Nikolai Hensburg with the school's highest sporting award.
Principal Francois Moll proudly announced that York High is conferring the Honours Award on the two Grade 12s, both of who play tennis for the first team and have been unbeaten for more than two seasons.
The two boys are coached by the highly regarded tennis professional, Tielman Meyer. The school's tennis organiser, Rick Coertze, describes them as very disciplined and responsible and "such nice youngsters". He says it's a great pleasure watching tennis at their level.
"Their discipline on the court spills over into their academics where they are also very competent." The school wishes them well and will follow their progress with interest.
