Each school was represented by an u.12 boy's team consisting of ten players each.
This event concurred with a live rugby broadcast of South Africa versus Fiji in the World Cup.
Each primary school team was accompanied by two teachers.
A large number of spectators, parents and children attended the event.
The Mini Clinic was arranged by Township TV as part of a national project to highlight the World Cup rugby tournament, South Africa as the current world champions, the team’s defence of the trophy, the sport and its educational and socio-economic value for young players, and the commitment of George Municipality to contribute towards sport development and its building of sport partnerships with national sport bodies, corporate and NGO's, SA Rugby and SuperSport.
