KNYSNA NEWS - Runners and walkers are invited to put on their running shoes and celebrate life at the Love Life 10km road race and 5km fun run at Wilderness Common on Wednesday 4 November.
Hosted by Cape Multisport Club Eden (CMCE), the event will take place on voting day, encouraging participants to cast their votes before joining family and friends for an evening of exercise and fun.
Under the theme 'Love Life, Run with Heart', the event aims to bring people together through sport while celebrating the relationships and moments that make life special.
Participants are encouraged to wear a heart somewhere on their shirts and, if possible, run or walk alongside someone they love.
The 10km road race starts at 18:00, followed by the 5km fun run at 18:15. Both events start and finish at Wilderness Common.
Participants who show their voting thumbs on the day will also receive a small surprise.
Entries can be completed online at www.aswd.co.za or manually at Top Gear George, MountCo George and Sportsmans Warehouse George until 12:00 on Monday 2 November.
Late entries will be accepted at the venue on race day between 16:30 and 17:45.
The event will be held under the rules of Athletics South Western Districts, Athletics South Africa and World Athletics. IPico Timing Chip will do the timing.
