TRAIL RUNNING AND MTB - This weekend sees the ninth Meiringspoort Challenge (MPC) trail run and MTB in De Rust.
Online entries for the trail run are already closed, but athletes can still enter at the registration area on Friday evening or Saturday morning. Late entry penalty fees on Friday are R50 and on Saturday R100. The same applies for the MTB.
On Friday athletes and their families can look forward to a steak dinner and cash bar from 18:00. Please book at derust.steak@gmail.com.
On Saturday the beer tent and food stalls promise to tantilise your taste buds.
MTB athletes can choose to take on the 19,5km, 38km or 61,5km trails, while eBikers can enter the 61,5km race. Trail runners can choose between a 9,5km run or 19,5km.
