GEORGE NEWS - Another great evening of bowls was had at the George Bowling Club in the Sotheby's Summer Business League Challenge last Thursday, 3 March.
There were some close wins for some teams while others were given a bit of a hiding.
Mazars Blue beat Miskruiers 19 -11, which moved them into top spot on the log with (27 + 26). Second place currently is held by Daisy Solutions (25 + 27), that had a close win of 11 -8 over George High 2. In third place is Wilderness Hotel (25 + 16).
The biggest wins of the evening belonged to TT Van, that had 26 shots to Mazars Red's 12, and York High over Renault, with 30 shots to 11.
The third round takes place tonight, Thursday 10 March, with Mazars Blue up against Daisy Solutions and Wilderness Hotel facing Supporters.
