GEORGE NEWS - Lancewood is leading the League table of the Sotheby's Business Bowling League after beating Heineken in the fourth round of the competition last Thursday.
They are also the only unbeaten team in the Championship section.
There were good wins for Wilderness Whales, York High and Mazars.
The top half of the table is: Lancewood (45 points), Forensic Services 1 (43), Team Heineken and Wilderness Whales (42 each), York High (40), George High 1 and Mazars (39 each), George High 2 (35), Die Ryp Piesangs (34), Murrays Pub and Grill and Pressed in Time (33 each), Ladies.co (31), Glenwood Golf Club (30) and Barclay and Oates (29).
In the Plate section the big winners of the evening were Kloppers George, who now tops the table which reads as follows: Kloppers CAW -(34), Sothebys (32), Raubenheimers (31), #Foes Must Fall (29), Tekkie Town A and Remax (26 each), Forensic Services 2 (25), ADT Security and Bowl You Over (24 each), Millers (23), Seamans Renault (20) and Tekkie Town B (20).
The fifth round has been postponed until 17 November where the traditional braai evening will be held after the bowls.
