GEORGE NEWS - For the past month, the George Chess Club had a raffle running where entrants stood a chance to win a brand-new chess digital timer or a chessboard and pieces. 

The winners were drawn by Anje Campbell of Tiny Tots Chess Academy, who donated the prizes, on 26 May. 

Club treasurer Paul Stafford handed over the prizes to the winners.
