GEORGE NEWS - Senior lady bowlers of the George Bowling Club made a clean sweep in the Eden Senior Singles Championship.
Edith Spence walked away with the prime prize, with Wendy Murray second and Jenny Sinclair third.

In the men's section Japie Combrink of the Outeniqua Bowling Club took the honours, with Johan de Bruyn of Leisure Isle Bowling Club second and Sedgefield Bowling Club's Dan Metter in third place.
The final, which was a tough, tense event, was played at the George Bowling Club.
