GEORGE BOWLS NEWS - Eden District Bowls held its annual Pro 10 championship over the weekend 1 and 2 May.
Over 40 teams entered, with the playoffs and finals having taken place on the Sunday at Outeniqua Bowling Club.
Five rounds were played on the Saturday and eight gruelling games on the Sunday. In a tense final late on Sunday it was between two teams from George Bowling Club, with Johlene Bronkhorst and Mike McCarthy beating Prof Stadler and Henk Barnard.
All four of these players also represent the Eden Open side.
