George Bowling Club members bring home the medals

GEORGE NEWS - Eden District Bowls held the annual Masters event at the George and Sedgefield bowling clubs over the weekend of 23 and 24 October.

This event involves the top 12 ladies and men as well as the top six senior ladies and men's bowlers in the Eden district.

George Bowling Club was represented by a number of bowlers in both sections. Johlene Bronkhorst followed in the footsteps of her mother who won the Masters a numbers of times in the past, and came out tops in the Ladies Open Masters.

Wendy Murray won the gold medal in the senior ladies event and Prof Stadler won the bronze medal in the Men's Open. 

George Bowling Club is very proud of these members and congratulates them on their achievements.
