GEORGE HOCKEY NEWS - At the recent EdenXperience hockey festival, Glenwood House learners had the last chance of the season to enjoy hockey and some fun with their friends.
While the girls did well to look good, the boys were determined to do well on the field. The u.8 boys won all their matches scoring an impressive 18 goals and conceding only two.
The u.11 boys scored 14 goals, conceding only three, with Bernard du Toit leading the charge with a hat-trick in the first match.
Most other teams had a balanced morning of hockey by winning, drawing and losing a few. But the winner of the day was to have fun with their buddies.
