GEORGE BOWLS NEWS - Round two of the Lew Geffen Sotheby's International Realty Summer Business League took place at the George Bowling Club on a beautiful Valentine's evening last Thursday.
There was a festive air with the clubhouse decorated for the occasion and each player received complimentary Valentine's chocolates.
The main sponsors, Lew Geffen Sotheby's, together with DC Partners and Stadler and Swart Attorneys, all enjoyed excellent wins on the night, but at the end of play two consecutive wins placed Four Jacks at the top of the league, two points clear of four teams in second place.
Ooba Home Loans sponsored the 60 "melktertjies for touches" that were given out during the course of play. A new dimension was added to the evening's prize-giving with lucky draw prizes donated by Hair Smart, the new Tredici restaurant and the regular Heineken lucky draws.
