GEORGE NEWS - Garden Route motorbike riders ran circles around their competition at the Killarney International Raceway in Cape Town last weekend.
The 19-year-old Dyllan Anderson from George and Jamie Hall (39) from Knysna, revved up a storm when they each won their individual classes in style on Saturday, 27 April.
Anderson took the win in the Clubman class and Hall took center stage in the Classic class.
Anderson, who took part in the 2024 Power Series on a 2014 Suzuki GSXR 750, has been racing at Killarney since he was 17-years-old. He won his first competitive race last year when he took part in the Breakfast Run class during the same competition.
This year Anderson completed his nine lap race in a total time of 21:17.331, which placed him first overall.
Hall took the overall second place on his 1997 GSXR 750SRAD in a time of 21:30.727 and in third place was Sarel Haasbroek from Cape Town in a time of 21:38.592.
