The chief examiners at this test were sensei Wessel and sensei Elrié, assisted by sensei Mick (2nd dan) and sensei Johnny (1st dan). Sensei Wessel (4th dan) has 26 years martial arts experience and his wife, sensei Elrié (3rd dan) has 15 years martial arts experience and together they run one of the biggest Karate schools in the Southern Cape with branches in George, Wilderness, Knysna and Plettenberg Bay.
Twelve students from this academy graded from green to blue belt. These students were: Elbastian Jegels, Tristan Steyn, Thamsanqa Donald, Joe Bruwer, Cameron Watkins, J R Ruytenbeek, Matt Jenkin, Kevin Stocks, Rhoan Rîve, Morgan Holton, Roxanne Ross and Slade Tait.
Eighteen students received their next levels on their blue belts. They were: Owen Poluta, Challenge Gobo, Rowin Marais, Inge Vorster, Michael Yanioglou, Benjamin Roode, Karla Oosthuysen, Morgan Van Nooy, Elmar Wagner, Tarn Durrheim, Jake Rubin, David Jenkins, Rashieda Biel, Pieter Van den Berg, Mandla Mantungo, Logan Tait, Liam Watson and Alec Yardley.
Ten students received graded from blue to brown: Shadrienne Barnett, Barry Theron, William Annetts, Jesse Smart, Arzel Vorster, Stephanie Linder, Nadine Patterson, Jessica Fielding, Johan Potgieter and Jarod Thomson.
Twelve students received their next levels on their brown belts: Zahndré Vorster, Quan Meyer, Louis Lehmkühl, CG Van Aardt, Liam Christian, Kasper De Jager, Brian Mynhardt, Samantha Kay, Sheldon Van Kersen, Chandré Strydom, Josh Pretorius and Jedric Nel.
