The events, which were scheduled to take place in September, were postponed due to inclement weather and out of concern for the safety of the participants.
Race-goers can look forward to enjoying the new and exciting course route on a private farm - an opportunity not to be missed.
The "Battle of the Bikes" Mountain Bike Challenge caters for mountain bikers of all fitness levels, from novice to mountain goat. It is a Cycling South Africa-sanctioned event, and also a SWD championship event. Participants have the option of cycling either 11km, 25km 45km or 65km.
The “Eden Adventures Trail Run” participants can run either 10km or 21km.
There is a further exciting event, namely the Special EdenX Challenge for those that enter both bike and trail run, and promises excitement to be had by all – both sporting enthusiasts and spectators alike.
Also happening at Glenwood House School on the same day: U13 Inter-schools water polo tournament, u7-u9 mini cricket festival, u16 and open 5-a-side fun soccer matches and U19 SWD water polo exhibition.
