GEORGE NEWS - Whether you are a full paying member, an associated member, a sponsor or purely just a guest at the final game of the Southern Cape Nomads George Golf Club, this club got everything the way any aspiring golfer or social golfer wants for his game.

The course was in superb condition.

The weather was the best the club had after the winter season and everyone present at the Gold Cup enjoyed the day.
Stanmar Motors’ Ian Matthew donated a superb prize table. Yet again a Southern Cape Nomad, Dup du Pisani, reached another milestone by receiving his thirty year tie.

There were worthy winners that played all year round who received well deserved trophies and accolades.

The new 2012 executive for the Southern Cape Nomads was introduced to the rest of the members.

They are Peter Hydra (2012 Captain), Jacques Matthee (Vice-Captain), Berti Harris (Match Secretary), Terry Otto (Equipment Manager), Austin Graves (Secretary), Ken Spencer (junior vice captain), Terry Dimatellis (Sponsorship Manager), Steve Twycross (immediate past Captain), Cameron Baccaleone (Treasurer), Hiron Snell (PRO) and D Flats Huisaman (Membership Manager).


The new 2012 Nomads Southern Cape committee members are from left Peter Hydra, Jacques Matthee, Berti Harris, Terry Otto, Austin Graves, Ken Spencer, Terry Dimatellis, Steve Twycross, Cameron Baccaleone, Hiron Snell and Dr Flats Huisaman.


Dup du Pisani receive his thirty year tie from Tony Varrie of Eastern Cape Nomads.
