The tournament was a huge success with nine schools entering the championship. Some schools even entered two teams.
The participating schools were Glenwood (A & B), Oak-hill (A & B), Knysna Primary (A & B), Sedgefield, Blanco, Outeniqua, Hartenbos, Park Primary and George South.
This championship will be played once a term and will give primary school golfers the opportunity to compete and gain experience on the golf course.
The tournament was the brainchild of Roelof Roeloffze, PGA professional. His aim is to develop junior golf in the Southern Cape from a very young age.
He can be reached on 082 875 4385 or e-mail roelofr@swingfit.co.za for more information.
