SOCCER NEWS - The Thembalethu Primary U13 girls soccer team has come out tops in their group to book their place in the Western Cape Kay Motsepe U13 Schools Cup in Beaufort West later this year.
Thembalethu Primary head coach, Aviwe Ntlabezi, says although it's not always easy to work with girls when it comes to football, they are working on their weak points to take their A game to the provincial leg of the championship.
Unlike boys, the girls are not used to the big field of play, but that this will change with experience and time.
Desire for the game
Ntlabezi said she is pushing them to unite as a team while not forgetting their positions on the field. She said that with disciplined desire for the game and commitment, they will achieve the best results.
She said the girls are very excited about winning the provincial playoffs and thanked the girls' parents for their support.
