NATIONAL NEWS - Phakaaathi has learnt that Mamelodi Sundowns will retrench up to 10 players as they embark on reducing their squad.

Among the players whose contracts are set to be terminated by Sundowns are Esrom Nyandoro, Katlego Mashego, Mukuka Mulenga, Rheece Evans and Bryce Moon.

Other players who are facing uncertain futures at Sundowns are Lindokuhle Mbatha, Luyolo Nomandela, Kuda Mahachi and Uzoenyi Ejike.

Nomandela was set to join Jomo Cosmos on loan, but the deal fell through on deadline day after Sundowns apparently failed to send the loan agreement to the Premier Soccer League on time.
