GEORGE NEWS - George United Football Club (GUFC) held its monthly Friday Night Live games last Friday. The u.11s kicked off the action and it was evident from the start that the hard work during their weekly practices paid off.
The u.13s were involved in a fast-paced, action-packed game against Rosemoor United Stars. Rosemoor won 6-1.
United Stars were extremely impressed by the ability of GUFC goalie, Jordan Burgess, to read the ball when defending his turf.
They nominated him, together with their own attacking midfielder, Liabona Malife, for the coveted man of the match title.
GUFC will be hosting an open holiday clinic during the April holidays and all aspiring footballers aged between 6 and 17 are welcome to attend.
Please connect with them on Facebook or phone them on 082 300 0332.
