GEORGE NEWS - Fast Eleven Football Club defeated the Black Cats development team 2-1 in a Geolfa Domestic League game on Sunday afternoon, 11 February at the Lawaaikamp Stadium. Fast Eleven's goals were scored by Ndumiso Ndaba and Mkhanyisi Manciya, while Thandolwethu Jantjies netted the only goal for the Lawaaikamp boys.
The first half saw fast-paced play by both teams.
Black Cats launched an attack at the start of the game and made an early attempt to score, but their shot went straight to the Fast Eleven goalkeeper. Sange Manzi of Black Cats tried a shot, but it was blocked by a Fast Eleven defender. Black Cats players attacked on the left side of the field, but failed to score.
Fast Eleven stole the game from the Black Cats development team with delightful ball handling.
They managed to score their first goal after set play from the middle of the field, making it 1-0. While both teams were looking very smart on the ball, Fast Eleven made an impact with Aphelele Kili, Malwande Msilelwa and Jongikhaya Myana building their passes from the back line. This saw Black Cats continually having to fend off the strong attacks.
At half time only one goal had been scored with Fast Eleven leading 1-0.
The second half started on fire with Black Cats trying to get an equalising goal. Fast Eleven attacked on the right side of the field, but failed to score a second goal. Black Cats were grinding for their first goal, pushing into the 18-yard box and scored their equalising goal to make it 1-1.

Fast Eleven players used their experience to control the game and after offensive play from the right side of the field, Mkhanyisi Manciya netted the second goal to make it 2-1. Black Cats tried their best to come back into the game, but it was too late for the Lawaaikamp boys to score.
