SOCCER NEWS - The Lawaaikamp side, the Black Cats, beat Fast Eleven 2-0 with a classic performance in a regional league encounter at the Lawaaikamp Stadium on Saturday 15 March.
Black Cats started the game with gusto and Fast Eleven were awarded more than one set play, but still the first half ended scoreless.
The second half saw both teams playing great touches on the ball, with the Lawaaikamp boys going forward into the box using the pace of their flanks.
The Cats gained more confidence on the ball, controlling the centre half. Nkosiyabo Toto opened the score with a powerful header inside the box, putting his side in the lead 1-0.
Fast Eleven responded with some forward moves, but the Black Cats turned them back, and Toto netted his second goal.
Fast Eleven worked hard to get a goal, but were no match for the Cats, who pocketed maximum points with their home win.
The Cats are logged in third position, fighting for the playoffs spot.
With 40 points, they have played 21 fixtures with 12 victories, playing four draws and five defeats.
Meanwhile, Fast Eleven FC is battling for a spot in the top eight.
