GEORGE NEWS - Bangalore FC and Young Killers FC faced off in a Domestic League fixture at the Lawaaikamp Stadium on Saturday morning, 29 June. 

With both teams battling to stay out of the relegation zone, Young Killers caught a dip when they were beaten 1-0. 

The single goal was scored in the second half by Akhona Gamana of Bangalore.

It was a well-balanced game where both sides leaned heavily on their wings. Young Killers right wing Isenathi Boli missed a golden opportunity in the first half when his shot at a wide open goal missed, and Phozisile Hassan of Young Killers made an impressive solo run only to see his shot go over the goal.

The second half saw Akhona Gamana of Bangalore scoring after great work from his flanks. Young Killers have their centre back, Masibulele Makhosi, and their goalkeeper, Inam Mxoli, to thank for ensuring that two further shots from Bangalore were unsuccessful.
