FOOTBALL NEWS - South Africa have called up SuperSport United midfielder Michael Morton to replace clubmate Teboho Mokoena for the second leg of their African Nations Championship qualifier against Botswana in Moruleng on Saturday.
Mokoena was outstanding in the 2-0 first leg win in Francistown on Saturday, but has been recalled by SuperSport, who have released Morton to the national team instead.
Morton already has two national team caps, both obtained in Chan qualifiers against Angola in October 2015.
South Africa are expected to complete the victory in the tie and will almost certainly face Zambia in the final round of qualifying. The latter are leading 4-0 over Swaziland after the away leg of their second round tie.
