GEORGE NEWS - Zone 9's giants, All Stars Football Club, were crowned the new champions of the President Cup Top 24 competition after defeating Raising The Bar 2-1 in the final on Sunday afternoon, 19 September in Mossel Bay.
Twenty four teams participated in the tournament.
All Stars netted their first goal during the first 45 minutes of the game. Both teams were playing attacking football and created several scoring opportunities.
Raising The Bar started the second half strongly, launching strong attacks, and managed to score an equalising goal. All Stars retaliated with skilful attacking play that broke through Raising The Bar's defence to score the winning goal, making it 2-1.
