SWD Cricket CEO, Albertus Kennedy, expressed his excitement with the 2014 intake which includes promising players such as Richard Maree (SA Colts), Lance Roelfse (Warriors Cubs) and Hanno Kotze who already represented the SWD senior team.
SWD Cricket will through this programme continue to invest in local cricket talent and prepare elite players for first class and professional careers.
The programme will run from May to September and will be concluded with the Cricket South Africa Academy's week in September.
The SWD Cricket High Performance coach, Andre du Plessis, will manage the programme.
