GARDEN ROUTE CRICKET NEWS - The SWD women's cricket team is ready for a big challenge when they take on Border in their second round of matches in the Cricket South Africa Provincial Women's competition this weekend.
The SWD ladies will be in action at Buffalo Park in East London in a limited over match on Saturday and a T20 match on Sunday.
SWD won lost both matches in their opening round of matches against Eastern Province in Oudtshoorn. Border will be a real challenge for the SWD but Haroline Rhodes and her team will be confident to prove a point. Star player Annerie Dercksen is unavailable due to exams.
The SWD team for the weekend are:
Julandi Saayman, Monique Booysen, Bianca Figeland, Micaela Andrews, Haroline Rhodes, Mbali Ndukwane, Julandi Saayman, Jané Winster, Marnezelle Rabie, Jenevieve Jantjies, Kaylene Abrahams, Ashley-Ann Meyer and Candys Jansen. Katrisha Strydom is the team manager and Ranwill Claassen the coach.
