GARDEN ROUTE CRICKET NEWS - The cream of South African youth cricketers will be in action in Oudtshoorn next week when SWD hosts the Cricket South Africa Franchise Academies tournament in Oudtshoorn.
The regional academies from the six professional franchises in South Africa will be in action, namely the Cape Cobras, Warriors, Knights, Titans, Lions and Dolphins. Matches will be played at the REC Ground, the Bridgton Sports Ground and Langenhoven Gymnasium.
The matches will be player over 50 over format and will start at 10:00.
The fixtures are:
Monday 4 March
Warriors vs Titans (Bridgton Sports Ground), Lions Vs Cobras (Recreation Ground), Dolphins vs Knights (Langenhoven Gymnasium).
Tuesday 5 March
Warriors vs Lions (Bridgton Sports Ground), Dolphins vs Titans (Recreation Ground), Cobras vs Knights (Langenhoven Gymnasium).
Wednesday 6 March
Dolphins vs Lions (Bridgton Sports Ground), Cobras vs Warriors (Recreation Ground), Knights vs Titans (Langenhoven Gymnasium).
Thursday 7 March
Dolphins vs Warriors (Bridgton Sports Ground), Knights vs Lions (Recreation Ground), Titans vs Cobras (Langenhoven Gymnasium).
Friday 8 March
Cobras vs Dolphins (Bridgton Sports Ground), Warriors vs Knights (Recreation Ground), Titans vs Lions (Langenhoven Gymnasium).
