CRICKET NEWS - Sanju Samson bludgeoned an unbeaten half century as Rajasthan Royals beat Royal Challengers Bangalore by 19 runs in their Indian Premier League match at the M Chinnaswamy stadium in Bengaluru on Sunday.
Full scorecard: RCB v RRBatting first, Samson clubbed 92 not out in the Royals’ total of 217 for four wickets after which the visitors restricted the much-vaunted Bangalore batting line-up to 198 for six in reply.
It was the Royals’ second consecutive victory after their 10-run triumph over Delhi Daredevils last Wednesday while the Royal Challengers have now suffered two defeats in their three matches.
