GEORGE NEWS - Pacaltsdorp United (62/2) recorded an easy eight-wicket victory on Saturday 20 January in the much-anticipated clash with Union Stars I (61 all out). 

The bowling unit of Pacaltsdorp - Heath Richards (2/1), Franco Geldenhuys (2/7), Arend Visser (2/14) and Linford Crotz (2/23), laid the foundation for this victory. The team remains unbeaten and still top of the log.

Three half-centuries by Werner Botha (68), Henry Griffiths (67) and Jaco Fourie (58) helped George (283/8) to a 135-runs bonus point victory against Harlequins Forces (145 all out).

Knysna Cavaliers (101/5) won the Bitou derby against Plett Pioneers (99 all out) by five wickets while Union Stars II (181 all out) defeated Mossel Bay (127 all out) by 55 runs. Tyrece Karelse (112) scored a century for Union Stars.
