Both Todd Walker (143 for Cavaliers) and Mark Vermeulen (179*) posted centuries.
Mossel Bay (213/8), thanks to a match-winning innings by Tony Ferreira (71*), chased down the Sussex total of 209 (all out) for a nail-biting two-wicket victory with one ball to spare.
George (84/4) reached the winning target in the 22nd over for a six-wicket bonus point win against Harlequins (83 all out).
Union Stars (85/3) were triumphant against Ramblers (84 all out), with a seven-wicket bonus point victory to keep their hopes of a place in the play-offs alive.
