CRICKET NEWS - The SWD Premier League champions, Pacaltsdorp United, has failed to qualify as the Western Cape representative for the Cricket South Africa national club championships that will be hosted in Pretoria later this month.
Pacaltsdorp United, 211 (all out) lost by 1 wicket against Cape Town Cricket Club (219/9) on Saturday while on Sunday they – after scoring 218 – lost by 9 wickets against the hosts, Maties (from Boland). Maties will be the Western Cape representative.
