In six innings, he racked up five fifties and one hundred, the most recent of which was a 63-ball 91 on Tuesday 13 June in the Quarter-Final against Nottinghamshire.
Although Somerset were eliminated in said Quarter-Final, Elgar still finds himself in fourth spot on the run charts with 519 runs at 103.80 with a strike rate of 98.85 and a career-best 131 not out as a top score.
