SOUTHERN CAPE CRICKET NEWS - The WSB Cape Cobras and Bizhub Highveld Lions will face each other at the Recreation Ground in Oudtshoorn for the Momentum Cup one day match on Sunday.
The match will start at 10:00.
The clash will be a great opportunity for the cricket fans in the Southern Cape to see players with international experience in action. Zubayr Hamza, Dane Paterson and Dane Piedt will represent the Cobras and the local fans will hope that JP Duminy will recover in time and be fit to take his place.
The Lions will field Reeza Hendricks and Rassie van der Dussen, who are both strong contenders for a place in the Proteas World Cup team for later this year, while Dwaine Pretorius and Mangaliso Moseshle are also players with international experience.
The facility at the REC Ground is in a good condition and the SWD cricket authorities will be hoping for a good crowd to attend the match.
Due to the test match between South Africa and Sri Lanka being played in Port Elizabeth this weekend, this match will not be broadcast live.
