CRICKET NEWS - Anaxolo Kitshini, who represented the Garden Route Badgers in the recent Cricket South Africa (CSA) rural tournament for coastal provinces, has been selected for the South African Rural XI team.
Kitshini, who plays for Thembalethu Cricket Club, is the older brother of the SA u.19 and SA Schools player, Inathi.
The family hails from Thembalethu in George.
The team was selected from players playing in the recent Coastal and Rural tournaments of CSA. The CSA Rural XI will be in action against the SA Forces XI at St George's Park in Gqeberha on 15 March.
The coach appointed for the SA Rural team is Pieter Stuurman, who coached the Garden Route Badgers Rural team.
