GEORGE NEWS - Two champion athletes from Pacaltsdorp in George, Lloyd Bosman and Elroy Gelant, delivered stellar performances at the Cape Town Run Your City 10km road race on Sunday 12 May.
Bosman secured an impressive 8th place overall and the 4th South African to cross the finish line in a time of 0:28:55, while Gelant claimed a remarkable second place, finishing just behind Kenyan Vincent Langat.
Gelant's performance made him the first South African to cross the line, in a time of 0:27:54.
Both athletes showcased their exceptional talent and brought pride to their home town.
In third place was Francis Koumwa from Kenya in a time of 0:28:15.
