GEORGE NEWS - At just eight years old, Mila Bolton is proving to be a rising star in the world of gymnastics.
This talented Grade Three learner from Glenwood House Primary School recently wowed judges and spectators alike with gold medal performances at both district and provincial levels.
Mila first made her mark at the Eden District Gymnastics Trials held in Mossel Bay on 24 May, where her skill and composure earned her a gold medal and a spot in the Western Cape Gymnastics Trials.
Competing against top talent from across the province, Mila travelled to Saldanha for the Western Cape trials on 27 June, and once again rose to the occasion.
She delivered exceptional routines, earning the highest scores in her group on vault, beam and bar, and she proudly walked away with another gold medal.
Mila trains at the George Gymnastics Club, where her commitment, passion and discipline continue to inspire coaches and peers alike.
