GEORGE NEWS - The George landfill site has been closed until further notice after reaching full capacity, with technical difficulties also affecting operations.
In a notice issued on Wednesday, 21 October, George Municipality said the situation was being attended to.
The municipality apologised for any inconvenience caused and thanked the public for their patience and understanding.
Residents are advised to take note of the closure until further notice.
