Tutu to remain under observation

NATIONAL NEWS - Archbishop Emeritus Desmond Tutu will remain under observation in hospital for a few more days.

The Nobel Peace Prize Laureate is being treated at an undisclosed Cape Town hospital after being readmitted last week.

The 83-year-old has been hospitalised twice in less than two weeks with a persistent infection.

His daughter Mpho says her father underwent a procedure over the weekend to determine the nature of the infection.

She says doctors are pleased with the progress of the antibiotic treatment.
