NATIONAL NEWS & VIDEO - A metro police officer was run over by a taxi in Chatsworth, KZN, just after 08:30 this morning, 13 February.

“Paramedics arrived on the scene to find the seriously injured officer lying on the roadway. Advanced Life Support Paramedics worked to stabilise the officer, believed to be in his 30s, who had sustained multiple injuries, before he was rushed to a nearby hospital for the further care that he required,” said Advanced Life Support Paramedics in a statement.

It added that the taxi driver is believed to have been arrested by metro police and that SAPS was also in attendance.
