He was this week re-admitted to an undisclosed medical facility where he's being treated for what’s been described as an inflammation.
His family briefed the media on Tuesday to reveal he has again been admitted to hospital.
This time Tutu is being treated for inflammation.
It’s his third stint in hospital in recent weeks.
Tutu’s daughter, Mpho said, “My mom would much prefer to have him at home so that she can feed him with his favourite foods but she’s making the trip back and forth to the hospital.”
