Krugersdorp 'execution' victim's brother speaks out

NATIONAL NEWS - The brother of a man allegedly ‘executed’ by police says if it wasn’t for the media, he would have never known the truth about the shooting.

Four Krugersdorp police officers are expected to make their first court appearance this afternoon.

The Sunday Times published images captured by a CCTV camera which appear to show suspected robber Khulekani Mpanza being shot dead while lying on the pavement with his gun out of reach.

Mboniseni Mpanza says police told him two weeks ago that his brother was shot dead by police officers whose lives were in danger.

But he says the video footage seems to tell a different story.
