Originating in Paris, France, this governing body for spa excellence has been awarding top spas for the past 12 years.
Under the strictest judging environment, Simola Spa had to submit a complete business portfolio after which judges visited the spa to judge performance according to international spa operation standards.
Simola Spa trumped especially in the service delivery division, being ranked as the top among the entered hotel spas' for 2016.
It was a joyous evening as the founder, Trevor Steyn of Simola's premium skincare brand Esse Probiotic Skincare, was awarded the Spa Visionary award for his breakthrough in probiotic skin technology.
