A company named Tswella Trading 88CC apparently won the ‘closed tender’ process, pending objections which were to have been lodged by October 19.
These were apparently discussed at an Umdoni Council Exco meeting, but no official comment was received at the time of going to print.
With no information forthcoming from Umdoni, the Mail did a business search on-line for Tswella Trading. It was linked to a variety of businesses which seemed promising at first.
However, digging deeper, it seemed that none of the related businesses actually existed.
Addresses did not match up, there were no landline numbers or websites. Restaurants certainly were not included on sites like TripAdvisor.
Tswella Trading was registered to a man from Lusikisiki named Zwelidumile Ndlamla.
The Mail managed to track down a cell phone number and phoned him. He did not answer, but then phoned back.
