Flabba case: Murder accused to take the stand

NATIONAL NEWS - Murder accused Sindisiwe Manqele is expected to take the stand in the high court sitting in Randburg this morning to explain why she stabbed and killed her rapper boyfriend Nkululeko 'Flabba' Habedi.

Manqele is on trial for allegedly murdering the musician in his home in Alexandra in March.

She has pleaded not guilty saying she was defending herself against a violent Habedi during a heated argument.

After calling 11 witnesses including a forensic pathologist, friends and family members of Habedi, the State has closed it’s sitting in the high court in Randburg.

Today the courtroom is expected to be packed as Manqele testifies.
